Notes for Arnold Peter BODDINGTON JP Excellent golfer; once captain of Warwickshire county team. He contributed to the
design of the golf course laid out in Welcombe Park, Statford-upon-Avon, overlooked
by his own house! Before moving to Mackintosh's Peter worked for a while at the
family firm of Samuel Boddington & Co, Woollen merchants, in Cannon Hill,
Birmingham. He was for many years a Trustee of the Shakespeare Trust in
Stratford-upon-Avon. [269]
