Notes for Elizabeth SLATER The date of birth was obtained from a piece of needlework created by Ruth SLATER,
one of the siblings, which showed the DOB to be slightly earlier than that
provided by family historian Noni Watkins. I have presumed the dates given on the
needlework to be the correct DOB dates and the previous date to be the date of
