Notes for Annie Gray Mackie SAUNDERS Annie Gray is interesting because she was adopted by her aunt, Elizabeth BODDINGTON, married to Alexander MACKIE, editor of the Warrington Guardian. "Aunt Elizabeth" (1808-1896), bequeathed her bookselling & stationery business to Annie, and mentioned Martha and Timothy Boddington SAUNDERS as well as other Boddingtons as beneficiaries. Samuel SAUNDERS was co-executor of her will. This was sent to me by Jo Unsworth, of Warrington Library.
