Notes for Stanley Herbert 'Stan' BODDINGTON MBE Stanley Boddington was a well known, indeed famous, brass band leader in the UK in
the 1960s and 70s, winning many competitions with the GUS Band including 6 National
Championships, twice British Open Championship, World Champions of 1971. Retired in
1975 after 42 years service to the band. Of Kettering, Northamptonshire UK, where
a street has been named in his honour, Stanley Boddington Court. [324]
