Notes for Cornelius Dirk HOEK Conscripted into the Dutch Army at the start of WWII; he was soon captured and spent
all the war years in a prisoner of war camp in Poland. He married very soon after
release to a girl he did not know before the war. Other than during the war years,
he lived his entire life in the same house, Zoutmanstraat 96, in The Hague.
