HANCOCK or HANCOX? Early refs were HANCOCK but Gill says it was HANCOX - Thomas Coney Boddington b.1810 married Elizabeth HANCOX was according to 1850 Whites Directory proprietor and maltster of the Blacksmiths Arms Ryton, he is also described as a Maltster on the 1841 and 1851 census. [19]
