In Wales they lived in Caerleon and John Thomas was a wool stapler and fellmonger*. A road is named after him - Boddington Terrace. * wool stapler: a dealer in wool, direct from the sheep but may be sorted and cleaned. * fellmonger: a dealer in animal skins, including sheep skins.
