Notes for Richard Michael Herbert BODDINGTON Noted for his sporting achievements, particularly with squash. 1955-56 Assistant Secretary of the Squash Rackets Association. In 1970s both captained and managed the Great Britain squash team. Great tactician. He taught French and various sports at Wellesley House preparatory school at Broadstairs, Kent, for 27 years, becoming deputy headmaster. Later at Aldwickbury School in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.Regarded as an inspirational teacher. [279]
