Notes for Leonard William 'Uncle Len' BODDINGTON The picture of Len in old age was taken at the 21st birthday party of Stuart Boddington′s daughter in June 1965, not long before his death. Notice that he was still turning out in evening dress with black tie, and enjoying a late evening at the Greswolde Arms Hotel, Knowle, Warwickshire (though I don′t remember him doing much dancing!) in the final year of his long life. Len spent the retiring years of his life living with Peter & Marion Boddington at their house, Keepers, on the Welcombe estate, Warwick Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire UK. He was a very kindly man and immensely popular with his relatives who were always keen to make a fuss of him.
